Best Foundation for all skin types

Finding the magical formula for the perfect foundation can be really tricky. You must know what’s your skin type, what are your skin needs , in order to find the perfect one for you. Whether your skin is oily, dry, combination, or acne-prone, for sure there is a perfect product for you out there.

There are so many brands, with so many special formulas, that we could assign to each person of this planet one different foundation. So, if you are looking for a perfect foundation , I’ve summed up some of the best. Check them out!

Oily skin

My skin is combination to normal, with a very oily T-zone and normal cheeks. Usually, on a day by day routine, I don’t use a mattifying face primer. I use it when I go out or I have a special event, if I want my face to look decent. I need one that has a matte finish, without drying my skin , with a natural aspect and with nice coverage. Some would say Mission Impossible. But I have douns several foundations that are like this.

double wear foundation

Estee Lauder Double Wear

In my vision Estee Lauder Double Wear is the no. 1 foundation. I’d never give up on him. It stays on my face like 10 hours, it doesn’t transfer on clothes, it has a semi-matte finish and the coverage is from medium to high. I recommend you to use this one with a hydrating face cream. I like the combination between Double Wear and GlamGlow Glow Starter face cream.

YSL foundation

Yves Saint Laurent All Hours

This is theĀ  new foundation from Yves Saint Laurent , All Hours. I used to like Le Teint Touche Eclat, but It was a hydrating foundation, not for my skin type. My skin was shining bright like a diamond with it on it. It has great coverage, matte finish, resistance but I thinkĀ  the most important is that my skin looked so luminous! It is amazing! And also the shades are great! You should really try this one!

Lock it

Kat von D Lock It Foundation

When I first try this one I was mesmerized but its coverage. You really can cover tattoos with it. I think it should be used only with a face primer. This thing will help you while applying on your skin , but also also will improve how it looks on your face.

mac

MAC Studio Fix is a ‘sister’ for Double Wear. I found them really similar. It is good for oily skin, it has matte finish, good coverage, but the finish is not that natural like double wear. I like to use it after a brightening and hydrating face primer.

Dry Skin

A wrong foundation on a dry skin will worse the skins condition and will also look awful. Beside those hydrating and nourishing face creams, our foundation should be chosen carefully.

too faced foundation

Too Faced Born This Way

This Too Faced Foundation has an oil free formula and it’s special ingredient is Coconut Water, which is perfect for dry skin.

hello flawless

Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation

Even if Benefit is a “brows specialized” brand, they also have a really amazing foundation. It is called Hello Flawless and it’s perfect for a dry skin, with a brightening effect.

bourjois foundation

Bourjois Healthy Mix

A very good priced product from Bourjois is this fruity foundation, with vitamins and a long lasting formula. It feels really nice on skin, without that mask effect.

Acne-prone Skin

Acne-prone could be very difficult to put makeup on. There are some treatment-foundations that could work for this kind of skin

antiblemish

Clinique Antiblemish foundation

Clinique has a entire skincare range for acne-prone skin. Anti-blemish solutions foundation is made for those who need special care. It has medium coverage, natural aspect and semi-matte finish.

This was my list for the best foundation I’ve ever tried!
